This blog thing…

After writing an incredibly witty introduction for my first blog on blogspot, I had the unfortunate experience of discovering first-hand that nothing lasts forever. Thanks to some shoddy software, I, along with many others (according to a quick google search) came to understand that my newly created blog was automatically erased due to a “glitch somewhere.”

So here I sit, forced to expound upon the incredibly dull topic of blogging, why I’ve only recently jumped on the bandwagon, and trying to relate how doing something so seemingly unimportant will (hopefully) gain me some sort of notoriety as the hilarious, witty, ambitious struggling soon-to-be-millionaire homo that I am.

Long story short, I’ve always thought blogging was for losers. Though I’m still not entirely convinced that it is not, there’s a part of me that longs to religiously document my maneuver through the ever-changing city of New York. From premier parties to fashion shows, backstage at events and talking my way into places I have no business being, my life over the past year that I’ve been a certified Manhattanite has been an endless comedy of errors that deserves to be preserved somewhere. So here you go.

That being said, please enjoy, reflect, post a comment, and return to read up on my escapades in my short (cross your fingers) trek into the upper crust of Manhattan.

well, just because some losers blog, doesn’t make blogging a loser thing. ;)

and to avoid that blogspot episode (not that it’ll happen here as our stuff are backed up by wp.com itself) you can export (download) your blog’s xml file as a back up.
